Which makes sense since I was born and raised in the West. Well, except for one year when I was a baby and we lived in Ohio and then there was that year in Austin Texas when I was around four years old. Those formative years did leave me with such a thick accent at the time, Mom had a hard time understanding me. But it seems to be gone. I slip into a southern accent quickly when I'm around folks from the south, but don't we all?

I have signed the offer letter! I am officially gainfully employed. This feels really good. They don't want me to start until after Thanksgiving so I get to go home and visit with the siblings who are gathering for the holiday for the first time in a while. And I get to bond with my nephew which is always a joy. I have to knit him up a fun purple hat or something. Something to express my love. I got my employment packet by messenger today and it yodeled at me when I opened it. I have been entertaining myself by opening and closing the box over and over.

I am easy to entertain.
